Joe Woodie Valentine, 75, of Amarillo, TX passed away on December 26, 2022.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2022, at Llano Cemetery with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Volleys for Veterans. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Joe was born in Brownfield, TX on January 26, 1947, to Nell and Odel Valentine. He married Ramah Davis in Levelland, TX on August 27, 1965.

Joe loved to be outdoors, especially when he was fishing and hunting. Joe and Ramah enjoyed traveling with their friends. His grandchildren meant the world to him, he loved to spend time with them and to teach them new things. He was a Mason and a Navy Veteran. Joe retired from SPS/Xcel Energy after 36 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nell and Odel Valentine, and his brothers, Gary Valentine and Ronnie Valentine.

He is survived by his wife, Ramah Valentine; children, Tony Valentine and wife Sheryl, and Kathy Grant and husband Michael; grandchildren, Chance Valentine, and Maddison Putman; brother, John Valentine and wife Brenda; sister, Charlotte Gibbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    We are truly sorry for your loss. We immediately felt the loss at the hearing of Joe’s passing. You will be in our prayers as you go through this process of losing a loved one.
