
Josefina Flores Hernandez, 57, of Amarillo, Texas died November 6, 2020.
Rosary will be said at 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, November 10, 2020, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at St. Laurence Catholic Church. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Josefina was born in Morelia, Mexico on June 13, 1963. Many will remember her as Tyson’s mother figure. She was known to always remember everyone’s special days. Josefina was a great cook and provider of hot meals for large crowds. She was an honorable wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Her employment was at Tyson Foods for 18 years of production work.
Survivors include her husband, Alejandro Fuentes; children, Maria Guizar, Eduardo Guizar, Llesenia Chacon, and Javier Chacon; grandchildren, Isaiah, Mckayla, Jasmine, Jayden, Jacob, and Jaziah; sisters, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Irma Hernandez, Eloisa Hernandez, and Gloria Hernandez; and brothers, Carlos Hernandez, and Jesus Hernandez
She was preceded in death by her mother, Taurina Flores; father, Concepcion Hernandez; brother, Jose Luis Hernandez; sister, Maria Hernandez; and nephew, Carlos Mora.
