Judy Lynn Smith

Judy Lynn Smith, 75, of Amarillo, Texas went to be with our Lord on December 15, 2023, after living a beautiful life. She is survived by husband, Arthur Smith of Amarillo, Texas. Two sons; Paul David Buckley Jr. and wife Tricia of Kempner, Texas, Arthur Smith II and wife Rhonda of Amarillo. Three daughters; Paula Jean Morgan of Holliday, Texas, Angela Brandenburg and husband Jay of Amarillo, Trinity Lynn Buckley Smith of Amarillo, and Lesa Jean Gillum of Amarillo. Nine grandkids; Ashley Deluna, Brittany Blocker, Brandon Blocker, Lily Brandenburg, Averi Lynn Brandenburg, Dylan Smith, Destiny Smith, Tarik Gillum, and Malakih Gillum. And to her delight, seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Frank Blackwell of Amarillo.

Born to Duward Maurice and Betty Jean Jones of Elk City, Oklahoma on July 31, 1948, and later moved to Amarillo as a child. Judy was a cosmetologist by design. She loved spending time with family and friends, crafting, reading, crocheting, and spending countless hours listening to her grandkids while telling them jokes. She always knew the right things to say to lighten the mood or get someone to laugh with her, and she did her best to make sure all the kids and grandkids could see her in the stands cheering them on at the many events they participated in. She always made sure to tell everyone how much she loved them.

Judy and her husband were married on December 15, 1984, and they celebrated their 39th anniversary on the day of her passing. They had a love that everyone around them could see and feel.
