Keith Lowell Johnson, age 80 passed away on March 19, 2024 in Amarillo, Texas.
Memorial s
ervices will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Leah Lawson, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Keith, the second of two sons born to Lowell V. and Margaret I. (Stockland) Johnson was born on October 18, 1943 in Newman Grove, Nebraska. He attended Newman Grove High School, graduating in 1961.
He was baptized and confirmed at Shell Creek Lutheran Church in Newman Grove. He has been a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Amarillo since 1983.
Keith met Arliss Novotny in late 1988 and they celebrated their first date ringing in 1989. Keith and Arliss married in May 1999 and continued to live in Amarillo. They enjoyed Las Vegas and have visited there 20+ times for BCA Billiards Championships and the PBR. They also enjoyed cruises and have been to Alaska twice, the Eastern Caribbean and took two trans-Atlantic cruises.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roger C. Johnson. He is survived by his wife Arliss; two sons, Stephen (Monica) of Stafford, VA and Erick (DeDee) of Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm, Friday, March 29, 2024, at the funeral home.
