After being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer he enjoyed the little things in life and had many interests. Some of his hobbies through the years included snow skiing, fishing, random road trips, restoring a truck with his daughter and father-in-law, and reading, but nothing compared to his greatest love—music.  His favorites pastime was listening to and watching his daughter and friends perform on the weekends. Kenny loved, and supported the things and people he believed in.  Whether it was his gym, his musician friends, a friend opening in route a new restaurant, with great food, or just some gadget he bought and fell in love with, Kenny made it a personal mission to make sure everyone knew about it/them.

Kenny is preceded in death by his grandparents JT and Faye Yates, and Mary and Arthur Virden.  He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Julie Ann; his children, Harlee, Brian, and Quen, wife, Katie; his parents, Jerry, and Judy; sisters, Dee Burks, and Cindy and her husband, Joe Joe Naval; three grandsons, Cooper, Milo, and Riyo; and five nieces and three nephews.
