Kimberley Michelle Gardner, 58, of Amarillo, TX, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 20, 1964, in Amarillo, TX, to Darlene Boykin.  Kimberley was a devoted wife to Timothy Gardner and a loving mother to her son Dustin Rose and his wife Amber.  She was a very proud grandmother “GiGi” to Avery Madeline Rose, and to Maddox Christopher Rose, both of whom she adored more than anything in this world.  Kimberley had a special place in her heart for her brother Bryan Boykin and his wife Lindsay, as well as her stepfather Chuck Boykin, all of Amarillo.

Kimberley was a kind and generous soul with a huge heart.  She has been described by co-workers as the “hot pink crayon” in a box of gray.  She was a champion of the underdog in whatever form and was a lover of all animals, especially dogs.  She had a passion for all things “Disney” and enjoyed watching television and movies.  Kimberley especially loved watching her granddaughter Avery excel at Club volleyball.

Kimberley worked for the State of Texas for 20-½ years, where she was a valuable member of the D.A.R.S. team.  Most recently, she served as Resource Development Coordinator for the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon.  Her dedication and commitment to her work were unparalleled.

A memorial service for Kimberley will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 10 am at Amarillo Fellowship Church, 8425 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79110.
