Lee Grimm, 96, of Amarillo, TX passed away November 2, 2023.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Pastor Bill Ivins as officiant. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Lee was born December 6, 1926 in Dallas, TX to Berry H. Young Sr. and Ila Shaw Young. Lee worked for Diamond Shamrock for 20 years. When she retired, she was the Administrative Assistant for the President, James Avery Rush. Mickey and Lee were avid square dancers and taught Round Dancing for many years in Amarillo. They also enjoyed playing card games with friends including Rummikub and 42. Lee was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Mickey Grimm; son-in-law, Larry Gnepper; and stepson, Ed Grimm.
Lee is survived by her daughters, Cindy Williamson and Debbie Gnepper; sons, Larry Alexander and Mike Alexander and his wife Karen; stepdaughter, Shelly Grimm; ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo, TX.
