Leopolda was born February 18, 1953, in Huarichic, Durango, Mexico to Margarita (Olvera) and Jose Montelongo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Castaneda-Mendoza on October 31, 2023.
Survivors include her children, Angeles Castaneda, Aurora Castaneda, Abigail Castaneda, Araceli Castaneda, Ruben Castaneda, Margarita Castaneda, Patricia Castaneda, and Rene Castaneda.
