  1. My deepest sympathy. Scott was so fun to work with. Always smiling and joking. Full participation in any fun event. I loved his ballerina costume. Red white and blue rocket pops on flag day. I’ll always remember him as a good part of my work life at Pantex.

The service was wonderful. His son-in-law gave a eulogy Scott would have been proud of. Joanne you are in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time.

  2. I am deeply saddened that my cousin Scott has passed away. He was a wonderful role model for us younger cousins, a smart lovable kid with a great sense of humor. And he was always very sweet to us. I’ll never forget watching him graduate from the Naval Academy, a handsome young officer and a gentleman. May the grace of God be with the family as they mourn his loss.

  3. In our 68 Lucky Bag, page 377, Scott “Woods” picture is included. Was this a misspelling?

  4. I was so sorry to hear that Scott passed. He left us too soon. Our mothers were sisters so as a boy and young adult we spent time together at family gatherings. I was the youngest of the cousins and always looked up to Scott. He was fun. He always had his guitar and played for us as we tried to sing along.
We went to his Naval Academy graduation in ’68. He could have had his pick of commissions, being an Academy grad., and chose to go to Vietnam and served on a river patrol. He took a hit after giving his flack jacket to another crew member and lived with a piece of shrapnel in his back for the rest of his life. That is the kind of guy Scott was. He went on to a distinguished career serving our country in the US Navy and in the private sector. We need more like him.
