Lili Rebecca “Becky” Lavender, 69, of Amarillo, TX passed away March 31,
2023.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount.
Becky was born November 2, 1953 in Amarillo, TX to Joseph and Lynette Brown. She attended Amarillo High School and worked for over 20 years as a secretary in the family business; Bill Lavender and Sons in Tulia, TX. Becky loved to go to the mountains and fish. She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, never missing a game. Becky was known for always wearing rings on almost every finger. She loved butterflies of all colors, hummingbirds and she loved to laugh.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lynette Brown; 4 sisters, Marilyn, Carolyn, Joan, and Susie; and her life partner, Roger Adams.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Shanna Sudbury and husband Ken of Amarillo, TX; her son, Brent Lavender and wife Kristen of Amarillo, TX; 2 grandchildren, Brittany Hill and husband Ryan of Amarillo, TX, and Angel Patrick and husband Jesse of Pueblo, CO; great-grandchildren, Millie, Eleanor, Eisley, Maverick, and Madeline; sister, Lynne Dombrowsky and husband Joe of Clearwater, FL; brother, Angus Brown and wife Janet of Rock Port, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
