Linda Beth Oehlert, 66, of Amarillo, TX., died December 15, 2020.

Services will be at 3:00 P.M., Monday, December 21, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G.A. Roach officiating.  Private burial will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Linda was born in Shattuck, OK, on July 31, 1954, to Norval and Nadine Fields.

She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1972 and married Fred Oehlert on August 1, 1972, in Amarillo, TX.

Linda was kindhearted and was always ready with a smile.

She was preceded in death by, her father, Norval Fields; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joyce and Fred Oehlert.

Survivors include her husband, Fred of the home; mother, Nadine Fields of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Laurie Robinson and husband Tim of Philadelphia, PA, brother, Brian Fields and wife Suzanne of Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Janis and husband Rushe Hudson; brother-in-law, Randy and wife Barbara Oehlert; sister-in-law, Karen and husband Jerry Heard; three nieces; ten nephews; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews.

  2. I remember Linda from Austin Junior High, the one semester I attended there in 8th grade. She was always so kind and sweet…and tall and pretty….with a smile on her face. RIP Linda. At Tascosa High School, as well.

  3. Linda and I were besties for many years, when we were teens and into our adult years. Although we had not visited with each other in a very long time, Linda always held a special place in my heart. Rest well, sweet Linda. My heartfelt condolences go to Fred and the rest of her family. Praying that the Lord holds you close and brings you peace and comfort in your time of mourning.

  5. I worked with Linda back in the 70’s and 80’s at Levi Strauss on 24th. She was so beautiful and such a nice lady, I am so very sorry for your loss
