Linda Francis Hubbart

Linda Francis Hubbart, 83, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on December 7, 2023.

Service will be held on her birthday, Saturday, December 9

, 2023, at 1:00 P.M., in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Private burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Linda was born in Durant, Oklahoma to Charles and Billie Perry on December 9

th

, 1939.  She moved with her family to Amarillo as a young girl.  She married Pete Hubbart on June 4, 1955, and they were blessed with three sons, Tim, Russ, and Mike.

Linda worked in education, retiring with Region 16. She loved the mountains, western movies, grandchildren, and JESUS.  She was a strong believer and well versed in the Bible and shared her faith with family and friends.  She loved to shop for clothes and furniture and kept a continuous honey-do list for Pete.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Survivors include her brother, David (Butch) Perry; sister, Ann Garrison; and her sons and their wives, Tim and Linda, Russ and Tammy, and Mike and Angela.  She loved spoiling her grandkids, Amanda, Tamra, Case, Todd, Myndi and Justin.  She continued that tradition with her 15 great-grandchildren and was excited about the upcoming arrival of her first great-great-grandchild.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed Proverbs 31:28.
