Linda Gay Nugent, 60, of Amarillo, TX died Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Dreamland Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Linda was born November 18, 1959, in Amarillo, TX to Ray and Alma Hickenbottom.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.  She also enjoyed working in her yard, traveling to Colorado, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Gary Hickenbottom; and a daughter, Shanna Marie Nugent.

Survivors include her husband of forty-five years, Wayne Nugent; six children, Sandra Rodriguez and husband Tony, Stacy Gonzales and husband Allen, Chris Nugent and wife Brandy, Danny Nugent and wife Shonda, Shelly Graves and husband Tony, and Stephanie Nugent and husband Aaron Curry; a brother, Ray Hickenbottom; four sisters, Brenda Tennison, Paula Sanchez, Rhonda Trimble, and Kathy Randall; her mom, Alma Hickenbottom; twenty-four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild with another on the way.
