Linda Glenn Mason, of Canyon, TX passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2022. Linda was born on February 7, 1950, in Muleshoe, Texas to Randolph and Leona Glenn.

She graduated from Hereford High School in 1968. She attended West Texas State University where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She then completed her education at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in English.

Linda married the love of her life, Dickey Bob Mason, on December 30, 1982, as they began a happy and adventurous life together.

They lived in many places together from South Texas to the Panhandle, and

finally settling in Canyon, Texas in 2020.

The majority of her life was spent educating young students in various subjects from history, gifted and talented, ESL, and English.

She retired from Hereford ISD in 2012.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Randolph Glenn, and mother, Leona Crossland Glenn. She is survived by her loving husband, Dickey Bob Mason; her daughter, Amber Brown, and her husband, Shayne of San Antonio, Texas; her son Randy Mason and his wife, Amy of Hereford; her step-son Chad of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; her step-son Brad of Waco, Texas; her eldest granddaughter, Ashley Smith, and her husband Tyler of Amarillo, Texas; her grandchildren Chase, Parker, Avery, Kalynn, and Kyndle; and her great-grandchildren, Max, Cal, and Lyla.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. in Amarillo, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, P.O. Box 64, Boys Ranch, Texas 79010.

  4. Have known Linda and Dickey for so many years, attending school and church with them. Saddened to hear of her passing. I have many fond memories of Linda and her family.
