My precious first little neighbor and friend. “Linda Jeanie” and I spent countless hours playing dolls. I also remember playing “wood tag” with my Sissy and the three Troutman girls . It was so great to reconnect years later on social media. Precious lady!
We have lost a beautiful and loving Chi Omega sister and friend. I shall always remember her as “Dimp’s” lovely little sister and fellow Chi O! Her effervescent demeanor and ever present smile was always there for us all. My heart goes out to you, Betty Ann, and the entire family. You are loved from afar in Hawaii and in my prayers. Love, Fritz Campbell ❤️🌈
Prayers for your family. Cherish your memories of her. Sending our love.
Such memories, singing together at Saint Stephen and then the little pieces I have seen on Facebook. Then time travel just reading the messages from other OLD Dumas friends. A special bond at FMC on Dumas. My heart hurts for you all. Bet she’s singing in Heaven.
Blessings. Melba Haile Boydstun
Mary Helen , my heart hurts for you. As the eldest of three sisters myself, I cannot imagine the pain you and Betty Ann are going through with this loss of your baby sister. Know that Darla, Karen, and I all remember you beautiful “Troutman girls” from our childhood days in Dumas. You three set the mark for us then. Hugs to you both in this time of grief.
So thankful for that time together!!
Mary Helen and Betty Ann ~
I have fondest-memories of exchanging Sunday-afternoons after church at First United Methodist growing-up, having dinner and playing dolls. Mary Helen was big-sister, lol so she didn’t play with us and Linda Jean was pesky-little-sister but Mother Viol insisted we include her. Such great-times! May out Lord comfort each in-this-time and so-glad the three of you got-to-be together as I read in Mary Helen’s-note. Grieve-as-you must, not-as-others will tell you is right, wrong or indifferent. I still have my-only-sister, Betty in Dumas but her-husband Bobbie Spencer passed recently from COVId-19 and COPD. Sad-times with everyone now it seems. Does that mean we-are-getting more-mature in age? Love to all ~ Jackie

Our hearts are saddened. Linda Jean was truly one of the kindest, most caring and musicality talented persons ever. As a Chi Omega sister, she made our lives brighter and joyous and leading us always in our beautiful song of SHADES.
I’m sure that all the angels will have her leaving their choirs.
May God be with you all in healing and comfort. Love and condolences. Jan Koci
