Linda Louise Wagner, 69, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, October 21, 2022.

Memorial services will be at announced at a later date, at The Church at Quail Creek in Amarillo, TX.

Linda was born November 19, 1952, in Wellington, TX to V.K. Orr, Jr. and Louise(Alexander) Orr.

She married Ron Wagner on September 15, 1979, in Wellington, TX. Linda had a long career as a registered nurse at BSA Hospital and later in home health and Children’s Home Health Care. She was considered a very caring RN, especially when providing care to children.

Linda was a member of The Church at Quail Creek for 38 years and playedclarinet in the church orchestra for most of those years.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, camping and fishing, but most of all Linda enjoyed family time. She just loved her nieces, nephews, and her little Chihuahua, Turbo.

She was preceded in death by her father, V.K. Orr, Jr. and her mother, Louise Craft (Orr) and her brother, Eddie Orr.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Wagner, of Amarillo, TX; her son, Joshua Wagner, of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Beverly Clinkscale and husband Jack, of Bristow, OK; a brother, Michael Orr and wife Amber, of Princeton, TX; a sister-in-law, Sheryl Orr, of Wellington, TX and many nieces and nephews.

  1. I worked with Linda years ago. She was a charge nurse on 5A at “HPBH.” I had just moved from a rural hospital as an LVN working on a degree in nursing from AC. She was an excellent nurse with a teaching heart, advocate for her patients, and kept the unit and staff working well with each other. Her professionalism was notable and was a desire of mine to emulate through my career.
    Linda will be missed. Prayers to her family, friends, and co*workers.

  2. I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was the best boss I had ever had. She was truly a great nurse and I learned a lot from her. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew her. My prayers are with her family especially Ron and Joshua?

  3. Linda was such a joy. I learned many things from her as a nurse. She always made my job easy. Josh I remember all the stories of you growing up as we would share our “son” stories. Family was so very important to her each one Ron hold on to great memories and may God comfort you during this time. Prayers 🙏

  4. Linda was one of my momma nurses. She taught me so much in my nursing career. She was always so good to me and great with her patients. Blessings to Ron and Joshua. Prayers for you both
