Margaret Anastasia Storrs, 59, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, July 11, 2022.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Margaret was born December 28, 1962, in Staten Island, NY to Pericles and Shirley Vavoudis.
June 2, 1999, she married David Lee Storrs; he preceded her in death on March 19, 2019.
Margaret was an information systems network administrator. Margaret enjoyed playing guitar, oil painting and leatherwork. She enjoyed cooking and often grew her own vegetables, canning while storing for future consumption. Margaret loved animals and with her husband David, frequently rescued cats and dogs from the streets of Amarillo
Survivors include two brothers, Nick Vavoudis and wife Martie from Cathlamet, Wa. , John Vavoudis and wife Lisa, from Fontana, Ca. ; stepdaughter, Megan Lyn Grubb, of Wink, TX; and several nieces.
