Margaret Susan Carrasco, 71, of Amarillo, TX passed away March 31, 2023.
Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Margaret was born on August 3, 1951, in Amarillo, TX to Gonzalo and Lorenza Ballin. She graduated from Caprock High School and married Leandro Carrasco on November 11, 1972. Margaret worked cleaning houses for many years and also with MGC Concession Stand. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and daughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gonzalo and Lorenza Ballin; and brothers, Felipe and Danny Ballin.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leandro Carrasco; sons, Armando Carrasco and wife April, Leonard Carrasco and Renee Vaughn, and Miguel Carrasco; daughter, Melinda Carrasco and Tarik Gilbreath; brothers, Larry Ballin and wife Melissa, Ricky Ballin and wife Maria, and J.R. Ballin and wife Lucy; sister-in-law, Rita Ballin; and 13 grandchildren, Jackie Carrasco, Jordan Carrasco, Noah Carrasco, Jay-Linh Carrasco, Taylen Carrasco, Matthew Carrasco, Andres Carrasco, Marisol Flores, Matias Flores, Rachel Aguilar, Marianna Robles, Ayden Carrasco, and Carrisa Carrasco.
