Marge Elizabeth (Chapman) Barr born June 27, 1931, in San Jose, CA passed away July 09, 2020, in Amarillo, TX.
Marge, known by Oma to most, enjoyed family visits, babies, animals, reading, baking and the Christmas season. Marge was a former member of the Mayhill, NM volunteer fire department.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband William R. Barr Sr., parents Benony Fuller Chapman and Mattie Faye Petty, step father Clyde Henry Long, siblings; Henry “Bubba”, Benony “Floyd”, Jewell “Sister” (Stallcup), Dora “Babe”, James, sons; Danny Corey, Gary Corey; son-in-law Buffalo Marshall, grandson-in-law Jeffro Sarrels.
Marge is survived by children; Kathryn Marshall, Rebecca (Ron) Smith, Jodi Barr, William “Billy” (Teresa) Barr Jr., grandchildren Brandi, Wendy, Richard, Sherri, Stephanie (Kevin), Andie, Timothy, Joshua, Jesse, Destin, Stephanie (Colin), Shelly (Ted), Amanda (Chris), Jamie (Steve), Jarrett, Jessica, Brian, Ruben, Angel, and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and her much-loved cat Mikey.
A Celebration of Life family dinner will be held at a later date.
Mama Marge , I’m so happy to have reunited with you & Katt after forty years or so, you were and always will be my favorite other Mother….Rest in Peace ….Love you now and Forever…..
