Cassie had many passions in life.  First and foremost her passion was for her children. She had such a way with small children that made her a wonderful mother and grandmother, her second passion in life.  Cassie also loved animals of all sorts and she rescued cats, birds, so many dogs and treated them all with such care and love.  Her animals all adored her.  Cassie also loved to read. She would constantly have a book or three she was reading at any one time.

Nursing and caring for others in critical care for decades was the professional calling that Cassie followed.  She served the community in critical care, cardiac critical care and a tour of service with hospice.

Her beloved daughter Darcie Milsow preceded her in death in 2013.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Clark, of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Christine Taylor and husband Barry, of Kerrville, TX; son, Justin Clark and wife Melody, of Seattle, WA; daughter Andee Barnett of Amarillo and Kelly Rueda and husband Pablo of Amarillo, TX; her brother Hank Kelly and wife Bonnie of Albuquerque, NM; brother Bill Gilstrap, of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Madison Taylor-Bassett and husband Nate, Ethan Taylor, Caleb Milsow, Emma Milsow, Dawson Milsow, Wyatt Barnett, Everett Barnett, Bennett Rueda and Bellamy Rueda; and a great-grandson, Barrett Bassett, on the way.
