Marian Louise Greenway, 74, of Amarillo, TX passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Memorial services will be held at Park Place Tower Parlor, 1300 S Harrison at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, with Park Central Chaplain, Alan Williamson officiating.
Marian was born in Weatherly, Pennsylvania July 8, 1948, to Rev. James and Alta Dendler.
Marian was a registered nurse working in various positions from hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice care before retiring in Amarillo in 2015.
She loved reading, animals and being outside in nature. She enjoyed the love and attention she received from the staff at Sycamore Assisted Living.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James Dendler and Alta Dendler.
Survivors include her sister, Nancy Christenson and family, of Kansas City; son, Scott and wife Kristi, of Amarillo; grandchildren, Tori Gray and husband Evan, and their daughter, Brooklynn of Amarillo, and grandson Ryan Greenway; her son, Steven Greenway and Sonny MacDougall, of Florida.
The family ask in lieu of flowers to make memorials to the Sycamore Activity Fund, 1511 S Van Buren St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
