A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Amarillo, TX on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Services will be at 2:00
 P.M., Monday, May 2, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
 
Marilyn was born on January 24, 1939, in South Dakota to Stanley and Lois Blaine.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Louis Hammond in July 2021.
 
She is survived by her children Pam Brackett and husband Larry, of Amarillo, TX; Shanna Kramer and husband Ron, of Callisburg, TX; Jamey Noel, of Grand Junction, CO; and Kelly Clark, of Amarillo, Tx. Her love and kindness will continue for generations through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, beloved fur babies, and friends.

  2. On, I will miss Aunt Marvelous so much. She taught me humor when it wasn’t cool for women to be so funny, And I cheered her on. She was one in a gazillion.

  3. Pam, I didn’t know that your Mom had died. Sorry for your loss. I don’t look at obituaries, all the time. Janie called me today or I wouldn’t have even known it at all.

  6. Marilyn was one of my best friends. She was my heart and soul . We played gin rummy and put puzzles together. We also got to go to Colorado together♥️ I will always cherish the memories and the wisdom she shared.
