Mary Louise Lucero, 71, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M., Monday, November 28, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Living Water Family Church, 2500 Eastern, with Oscar Mendoza officiating.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Mary was born May 9, 1951, in Amarillo, TX to Edward and Teresa (Fajardo) Lucero.

She worked as a housekeeper, was a cook, and worked for a warehouse.  Mary loved spending time with her family and her Lord.  She was a prayer warrior.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Virginia Lucero, and Patricia Lucero.

She is survived by three daughters, Cindie Rodriguez and husband George, Melissa Hernandez, and Teresa Hernandez and Juan Cerda Jr., all of Amarillo, TX; two sons, Jimmy Lucero and wife Michelle, and Henry Hernandez Jr. and wife Patricia, all of Amarillo, TX; a brother, Edward Lucero, Jr. and wife Angie, of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Sandra Cera, of Amarillo, TX; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and dog, Curly Sue.
