Mary Virginia Line, 88, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, June 4, 2023.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at East Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery with Kyle Pope, of Olsen Park Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mary was born December 10, 1934, in Shidler, OK to Clarence and Dessie Meyer.
She married Sam Line on November 10, 1954, in Raton, NM
.Mary worked at Pantex as a telecommunications operator for 18 years.
Survivors include her husband Sam Line, of the home; children, Laura Britto (Frank), of Amarillo, TX, Sam M. Line, of Amarillo, TX, Mark R. Line, of San Marcos, TX, and Mary Ann Nickerson, of Amarillo, TX; and 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Grandma I am going to miss you so much. I thank God he has truly blessed us with a wonderful Godly woman like you. I will always cherish all the wonderful memories and your wisdom and faithfulness to the Lord. I will miss hearing your sweet soft voice and that smile that would light up a room. I will miss all the love you poured into your cooking on family gatherings you made sure every time all the grandkids and everyone had exactly what they craved when it came to your dishes oh how we are going to miss that. Most of all we are just going to miss you and your presence you gave us so many wonderful years and memories thank you for your unconditional love you truly are a amazing woman and we will see you in Heaven 🙏💜
I’m so very sad that she’s gone. But I’m sure she’s celebrating with our grandparents in heaven now ❤️
