Maurine Evelyn Williams, 99, of Amarillo, died Friday, May 19, 2023.
Service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Burial will be in Huffines Cemetery in Atlanta, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Maurine was born on March 18, 1924, in Bivins, Texas to Mamie and George Parker. She graduated from Huffines High School and moved to Amarillo after World War II. She worked for Southwestern Bell as an operator, and later at Sears. Maurine loved to play cards and dominoes with the 90 Plus Group.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Williams; son, Danny Williams; and sister, Mavis Williams.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Brenda K. Williams of Amarillo.
