A family visitation will be held at 4:00, Sunday, December 5, 2021,  and a  rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M., Sunday, December 5, 2021, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Tony was born September 22, 1961, in San Antonio, TX, to Jim and Janie Moraniec. He married his beloved wife Debbie Moraniec on November 29, 2014, in Amarillo, TX.

A Devoted Catholic, Tony loved his church, his faith, as well as his Beloved Wife, dogs, and many cats. His charitable and philanthropic efforts have touched so many of those around him. He always made time for friends and family, volunteering to help with everything from changing a tire to home projects to cheering on the sidelines at every event he could attend. Tony was selfless through and through. He loved to laugh, listen to live music, grab drinks with friends, work on home projects and cars, ride his motorcycle, and from time to time cast a line to fish, but only when he wasn’t cheering on the Texas Longhorns. Tony grew up in Groom, TX, and graduated High School in San Antonio, TX. After moving back to Amarillo, he worked at the Pantex Plant as a security guard for 30 years before transferring to a Production Technician position for the past 7.

Tony’s true passion was his family. He is survived by his loving mother, Janie Moraniec; his devoted wife, Debbie Moraniec; her children, Michael Blake Oldham and his fiancée Kristen, and Courtney Wischkaemper and her husband Jake, and their son Bond; his daughter, Laura Lira-Moraniec; his stepson, Ryan Davis and his wife Lynsey; his sisters, Mary Treadwell and her husband Tony, and Angela Quintanilla and her husband Sam; his brothers, Thomas and Alex Moraniec and his wife Laurie; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; 12 nieces and nephews; and 16 great-nieces and nephews, with whom he loved and chased to many games and events, traveling thousands of miles to support and cheer on everyone. His love didn’t stop beyond his relatives as he had a deep love for his church family, as well as his work family at Pantex.
