Mina JoAnn Thigpen, 86, of Amarillo, TX died Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mina was born February 23, 1936, in Texas to Tandy Lee and Frankie Bell (Little) Dunavin.
She retired from Levi Strauss and City of Amarillo.
Mina was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bobby Dunavin, Troy Dunavin, and Muriel Dunavin.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Pace and husband Jeff; son, Nicky Thigpen; grandchildren, Kina Stroud, Kaevi Stroud, Kason Stroud, Piper Pennington and wife Laura, Piper Lee Pennington, Michael Thorn, and Jeremy Thorn; great-grandchildren, Alexis Dauer, Koda Dauer; brothers, Roy Dunavin and wife Joyce, Pat Dunavin, Chester Dunavin and wife Ann, Jerry Dunavin and wife Lynn, Steve Dunavin and wife Dorisa; and her sister, Rojean Hume.
