Mrs. Gerlinde E. Hall, wife of 60 years to retired Lt. Col. Carroll G. Hall passed away on October 7, 2022.
Mrs. Gerlinde E. Hall was born in Memmingen, Germany on September 26, 1931, to Zacharias and Elsie Weilde. She married Carroll G. Hall on December 6, 1954, in Augsburg, Germany. Gerlinde became an American citizen on September 8, 1960, because she loved our country and believed in our God! She lived in Amarillo, Texas for 57 years and raised 5 children.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim P. Hall and Michele R. Hall, both of Amarillo, Texas; three sons, Gary M. Hall M.D. of San Antonio, Texas, Eric A. Hall of Owasso, Oklahoma, Clark J. Hall of Grand Prairie, Texas; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Andrew, Alaina, Tyler, Jason, Quinn, and Cory; and two great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Caroline.
