Natalie was born in Canyon, TX on August 17, 1954, to Antonia and German Acosta. She graduated from Canyon High School and attended West Texas A&M University. She married the love of her life, Lynn Senk, on March 5, 1977, and went on to have three daughters, Carrie, Erin, and Kelly. She worked for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator. She also worked as a computer lab teacher at South Georgia Elementary, and then for Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch in the HR department for 14 years before retiring in 2015. She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral Parish and a devoted Catholic.

Mom always put her family first. We were at the top of her list. She was a loving and fun, Nana,

to her seven grandchildren and developed a special bond with each of them. Mom was an amazing cook and loved to make meals for us to enjoy together. Many people loved her chicken enchiladas, spaghetti, roast beef dinners, and her famous Christmas cookies. She enjoyed her travels abroad with Dad and made many memories. As much as she loved traveling, she was just as happy to sit outside on the back patio while enjoying her coffee and the company of Dad. Mom loved spending time with us shopping, trying new places for lunch, and having a good laugh. She would light up the room with her dynamic smile. Movies, Bunco, Late-night TV watching, and lottery scratchers were also some of her favorites.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonia and G.H. Acosta, and her grandmother, Maria Hernandez.

Survivors include her husband of forty-five years, Lynn, her “Honey”, her daughters, Carrie Trejo and husband Mauricio of Gilbert, Arizona, Erin Carter and husband Robert of Amarillo, Kelly McDonald and husband Kris of Lubbock, her grandchildren Cameron, Emily, Caroline, Carson, Claire, Cooper, and Jude, her brother-in-law Christopher Senk and close family friend, Stuart Flaherty of Venice, Florida, sister-in-law, Cheryl Munger and husband Tim of Dunstable, Massachusetts, and many loving friends and family.

We love you, Mom. Enjoy your journey.
