Nella Jo Deger, 92, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, April 30, 2023.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Nella was born to Joe Fred Hill and Sarah Almina Harvey Hill, at the home of her paternal grandmother, on May 6, 1930, in Wheeler County, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald Joe McBrayer; daughter, Lynna Jane Paris; two sisters, Novilla Bryan and Luvina Wyatt; and brother, Bob Hill.
Survivors include her sister, Colleene Howell and husband John; grandchildren, Frank McBrayer and wife Carmen, Sherra Dawn Sadler and husband Bobby, Repp Budd and wife Erin, Richard Gary McBrayer and Jay Ryan McBrayer; daughter, Beverly Budd; stepsons, Danny Deger, and Dale Deger; great-grandchildren, April, Raeven, Tyler, Justine, Aryan, Damien, Madison, KaeLynn, Bryce, and Parker; step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Diane; great-grandson, Sawyer James; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Virginia Green, Tony, and Accent Hospice for their loving care of Nella.
