Nielsen Ray Conner, 33, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, July 23, 2023.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Niel was born July 21, 1990, in Amarillo, TX. He attended Avondale, Sam Houston, and graduated from Tascosa High School. He was a very talkative child in school.
He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed playing soccer, football, and mountain biking. Niel was actually a very competitive fisherman and was usually in direct competition with his grandmother over who caught the largest fish.
Niel was a framer for a living, working with one of his best friends. Previously he worked in his dad’s dental lab making crowns and bridges.
He was a generous man and would give anyone the shirt off his back.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sonny Conner, Charles Nielsen, and Betty Nielsen; an aunt, Candy Groom; and uncle, Scott Nielsen.
Survivors include his father, Jack Conner; his mom, Suzy Conner; brother, Brysen Conner; grandmother, Jackie Conner; aunt, Kathy Brown. He is also survived by many cousins, and friends who were like family.

Our hearts ache for you. We were just picturing Neil as a young boy on a bike riding up into our garage and spending hours talking motorcycles. He was one of our neighborhood favorites for sure!
