Norma Dean Snooks, 87, of Dumas, Texas died on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Bible Baptist Church in Sunray with Seth Seale officiating.  Burial will be at Lane Memorial Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Norma was born on September 12, 1935, in Estelline, Texas to Doris Valentine Worth and Nanny Pearl Williams Worth.  She had thirteen brothers and sisters.  She grew up in Hall County and the Texas Panhandle.  She had worked as a waitress and caregiver.  She loved having family and friends over, playing cards and dominoes, and camping and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Snooks; and a daughter, Gladys Sue King.

She is survived by three children, Mawana Buller and husband Russell, Cass Ward Taylor and wife Tami, and Charles Snooks; 11 grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

  2. Your family in Amarillo is thinking about you in this heartbreaking time. We have so many fond memories of her from the family reunions. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.
