Orlando Homero Garces, Jr. 27, of Amarillo, TX passed away October 1, 2023.
Services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Orlando was born October 20, 1995 to Orlando Garces, Sr. and Darlene Herrera. He attended Caprock High School then Amarillo College. Orlando was a Navy Veteran. He married Jacklyne Ofelia Sandoval on March 26, 2016. Orlando was a talented barber, and loved volunteering for his community and was operations leader at Cacique Foods. Orlando was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was genuine, caring, and a protector of everyone around him. He was the life of the party and loved to make people laugh.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Pedro Garces, Jr.
Orlando is survived by his wife, Jacklyne Garces; children, Kenia Nikol Meza, Renesmee Michell Garces, and Cassius Alexander Garces; his parents, Orlando Garces, Sr. and Darlene Herrera; siblings, Teresa Ann Garces, Christina Olivarez (Tony), Desiree Garces DeSantiago (Luis), Brandon Michael Jones, and Hope Garces; nieces and nephews, Eli, Elijah, Amaya, Jose, and Chynna.
