
Orlando Jesus Bustos, 35, of Borger, TX died Monday, June 19, 2023.
Viewing will be at the funeral home from 10:00 – 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023, and from 8:00 a.m., until the start of the service at 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2023, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Orlando was born June 26, 1987, in Garden City, KS to Mary Bustos. He was raised in Amarillo at Presbyterian Children’s Home and graduated from Tascosa High School in 2006. He then attended Amarillo College. Orlando was currently living in Borger, TX.
Orlando worked for GRI Towers as a maintenance technician.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
When remembering Orlando, family and friends recall that he was always filled with life, illuminated any room, he was easy to love, and with Orlando, there was never a dull moment.
Survivors include his fiancée, Lety Cerros, sons, Ezekiel Jayden Bustos (14), and Eli Benjamin Bustos (3); his siblings, Joseph Bustos, Crystal Marie Bustos, Sergio Alejandro Bustos, Manuel Enrique Bustos, Alba Chavez, Selena Rene Mendoza, Monica Chavez, and Devanhy Chavez; his mother, Mary Bustos; his brother from another mother, Chaz Calloway.

I’m from California, I met Orlando once when I was visiting my cousin in Amarillo. I got to hang out with him for a half the day. He was easy to like and made me feel welcome In a place I was new to. I’ll never forget that guy anytime I remember that trip he’s a good part of the memories I keep. Rip brotha.
So sorry for your loss to all the family you are all in prayers . I so glad to got to take care of Orlando and after he left the Children’s home continued to be part of his life. RIP Orlando. God bless you all prayers !!

Orlando was an out going person always had a smile on him love you cuzen gone but never forgotten
i knew this man and his brother growing up. he use to go to my uncles church in hereford. sad to hear about this tragedy. he use to sing a song in church along with hermano olivarez on the guitar. and his brother playing the drums. may the Lord comfort your family and friends.

I met Orlando a few years ago thru my son Chaz Calloway. Orlando when ever, I would visit my son in Amarillo, He would always make his way over to see me. He was such an awesome young man. The last time I saw him I met his lovely fiance and his son. Orlando was like family to me , would always have a big hug for me. Chaz and Orlando was brothers, that made me ( Mom )to both of him. Sorry for the loss. ORLANDO will be missed.
