Oscar Neal Wade, Sr., 81, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, October 9, 2022.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Pastor A.L. Gipson and Pastor Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memphis Cemetery in Memphis, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Oscar was born June 25, 1941, to Truit and Eula (Liddell) Wade in Paris, TX, where he grew up. He moved to Memphis and finally to Amarillo.
Oscar retired from the City of Amarillo after more than thirty years of service. In his spare time, Oscar enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and following his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys. He was a well-dressed man and was known everywhere he went.
He was a father to seven children, including his youngest, Riley Neal Wade; husband to Angela Holland; and had many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
