Oscar Orlando Hernandez, 36, of Dumas, TX died December 17, 2020.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Primera Iglesia Bautista, 801 Miller St. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox Ave.
Oscar was born on March 13, 1984, to Alicia and Paulino Hernandez, in Dumas, TX.
He is survived by his baby girl, Emma Renae Hernandez of Arlington; parents, Alicia and Paulino Hernandez of Dumas; brothers, Paulino Hernandez lll and wife Esmeralda of Dumas, and Thomas Hernandez of Dumas; two sisters; Veronica Hernandez and husband Hector of Dumas, and Maria Jurado of Dumas; twelve nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and great-nephews.
Oscar was a dreamer, believer, and an achiever. He was passionate about welding, and especially driving big semi-trailer trucks, which later resulted into a recent business he incorporated known as P&A Belly Dump Mafia. Oscar’s family will remember him most for living up to the significance of his name, Oscar, a spear of God, Orlando, famous throughout the land. Oscar’s desire to help others led him to become an organ donor and with God’s grace, he was able to “gift” three people with another chance at life.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, from 1:00 P.M. -9:00 P.M. at Primera Iglesia Bautista, 801 Miller St., in Dumas.
