Patricia Vogler was born on November 7, 1945, to Hiram and Agnes Perry. She grew up in Hereford, Texas where she met and married the love of her life, Leon E. Vogler, on January 13, 1961.
Patricia was dedicated to her family and friends. She was a fierce advocate for women’s rights, children’s causes, and many others. Throughout her life she became a gifted craftswoman working in many floral shops and at one time opening her own store to feed her passion to create. She was proud of her Chickasaw Nation heritage and she and her husband, Leon, began making Native American jewelry and traveling around the country to trade shows to sell her handmade items. She was happiest spending time with her family, her two sons, Dwayne Vogler and wife Jana, of Wildorado and Tim Vogler and wife, Rene, of Vega. Playing games and feeding her kids and grandkids brought the biggest smile to her face and there was nothing that brought her more joy.
She passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023, at Heritage Nursing Home in Amarillo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, in 2004; her four brothers, and a sister.
She leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren, D.J. Kirkpatrick and her husband Zack Kirkpatrick, Shai Espinoza and her husband, J.J. Espinoza, Jared Vogler, and Rebeka Vogler; her great-grands were her crown jewels, Keira Espinoza, Jett Espinoza, Noah Espinoza, and Paisley Vogler. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends that will miss her greatly.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Burial was private.
