Patricia Yvonne Herring, 75, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, March 13, 2022.
Memorial services will be at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Pat was born November 23, 1946, to Sidney and Wilma Nabours in Tucumcari, NM, where she grew up. She moved to Amarillo in 1971.
Pat married Greg Herring on November 5, 1987, in Amarillo.
She loved coaching youth bowling, was a member of First Baptist Church and worked for Safeway for more than 20 years. Pat also had worked at Norris Pest Control and Pak-a-Sak.
Survivors include her husband, Greg Herring, of Amarillo, TX; a son, Nathan Herring, of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Shawn Lawler, of Kansas City; two sisters, Barbara Keith and husband Melvin, of Logan, NM, and Jo Ann Norris and husband Eldon, of Amarillo, TX; three grandchildren, Brittney, Brennan, and Brelann Lawler; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have donations to the Amarillo USBC in care of the Pat Herring Memorial Scholarship Tournament, PO Box 50325, Amarillo, TX 79159.
