
Patsy Lorella Stroud, 81, of Amarillo, TX passed away on March 16, 2022.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 21, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Patsy was born in Santa Anna, TX on March 13, 1941, to Jennie and J. D. DeSha. She was Salutatorian at Palo Duro High School in 1959.
Patsy married James Alvie Stroud at Fairlane Church of Christ in Amarillo, TX on March 13. 1988. She was a member of Fairlane Church of Christ.
Patsy worked for the City of Amarillo and Diamond Shamrock.
Patsy enjoyed camping, especially at Monument Lake with her family each year. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling. Patsy loved to spend time at the Shack in Clarendon, TX at Lake Greenbelt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jerry DeSha.
She is survived by her husband, James Stroud; stepchildren, James Stroud Jr. and wife Robin, Cheryl Sain and husband Gary, and Michelle Tijerina; grandsons, A.J., David, Adam, Andrew, and Noah; granddaughter, Cierrra; great-granddaughters, Aubree and Everlee; uncles, Audie Conley, and Chick Current; sisters-in-law, Joy DeSha, and Marion Nollner; nephews, Johnny DeSha, Craig DeSha; and many cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

So sorry for your loss ,Uncle James. Patsy was friendly and nice when we camped together
with Uncle Lowe and Aunt Stella at Kaw Lake many years ago.
She treated us fairly and with friendly words. I admired her greatly and know that she loved her family and friends. She was special.
