Patsy Jean White, 90, of Amarillo, TX, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021 of natural causes with her family by her side. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was born to Mary Hollis and adopted by the late Jess and Ada Johnson on June 30, 1930, in Amarillo Tx.

She was married to Nolan Eugene White in 1951. Patsy is survived by daughters, Susie Neal and Kathy Lopez and husband Frank, all of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Willa Dean McAnally, of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Carrie Brown, Felisa Ballin, Gino Ballin, Drew Neal, and Denton Neal; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan White; sister, Lola Mae Lester, daughter, Jeanie Bell; and granddaughter, Jessica Ballin.

Patsy was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She loved her church of 37 years, Rockwell Road Baptist and was a charter member. She worked for Whitney Russell Printers for twenty years, loved to bowl and for many years she was a scorekeeper for the Amarillo Softball Association. She always had a smile on her face and a bag packed ready for a trip. She will be remembered, loved and missed deeply.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2021, at Rockwell Road Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Richardson officiating.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

  1. Pat was like a second mom to me many years ago and I never met her without a beautiful smile and the love she shared so easily. God only takes the best and heaven is a brighter place with her presence!

  2. Pat was such a sweet lady! I have such fond memories of her and her family as we grew up together. I will never forget her, Nolan, and especially Jeanie! They are having a wonderful reunion in heaven.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew your Mom & Dad years ago when I played softball. Your Mom was such a sweet lady.
