  1. I remember Paul’s show, Mr. Stripe and Cookie, because my Dad, Don Luttrell, WAS Cookie. I spent a lot of time at KMID and had so much fun with both of them. I was 6 to 9 years old at the time and those memories are some of the best of my life. I also thought Paul was so handsome and a lot of fun!

I also remember Admiral Foghorn. One time, Dad “and I” played tricks on Paul by changing numbers on the weather board before his weather broadcast.

My condolences and blessings go out to the family and I known how hard it was to lose Paul. Don Luttrell passed 4/7/2021. These two men were broadcast pioneers of that time as well as being kind, wonderful, spirited men who shaped our lives with their practice of being kids at heart. How lucky we were to have them!
