Randall “Randy” Richard Morrison, 60, of Amarillo, TX went to his forever home on September 11, 2022.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Randy was born on December 2, 1961, in Carrollton, MO.

Randy was a deacon, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and he loved NASACAR and ACDC.  Above all, he loved spending time with his grandkids and family.

Randy had the strength of an ox, but the softness of cheesecake. He would do anything for anybody, whether he knew you or not.  He was always forgiving, quick to forget, gentle and always kind.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Richard Morrison, Martha Marie Jarvis Morrison Tindell, and James Orville Tindell; and siblings, Mike Morrison, Karen Sue Barbosa, and Deborah Ann Burton.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Morrison of Amarillo; father and mother-in-law, Earnest and Linda Chasteen of Amarillo; sons, Brandon Morrison of Willis, TX, Seth and wife Leslye LeCompte of Willis, TX, and Chase and wife Kayla Morrison of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Megan and husband Emilio Amunatigui of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Talyn Lambright, Jayden Morrison, Thea Morrison, Emilia Alexander, and Asher Morrison; siblings, Troy Tindell, Regina Romero, and Kimberly Thompson; brothers-in-law, Phillip Barbosa, Nub Burton, and Tony Romero; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

  1. Rest in peace cuz. Jesus has his hands full now. But you couldn’t be in better hands than his.
    Tell all the family hello from all of us. Not going to be the same here without you. You did a great job down here and we are all better off for knowing you and for having you in our lives.
    Oh, and by the way cuz, I hear that heaven is a smoke free and drink free zone, plus they don’t watch football. I’ll let you know how the Chiefs do.
