Randy King, 63, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, October 9, 2022.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Ira Purdy officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Randy was born September 2, 1959, in Roswell, NM to Ernest and Jean (Maddux) King.  He served in the US Navy and was a member of the VFW.

He married Cindy Dietrich in 1990.

Randy loved his motorcycle and his dogs, Diamond and Trooper.

His wife, Cindy, preceded him in death on November 7, 2011.  He was also preceded in death by his mom.

Survivors include his father and stepmom, Ernie and Neta King, of Amarillo, TX; daughters, Hailey Dietrich, of Lakeland, FL, Marquis Aday, of Denton, TX, and Tiffany Hudson, of Celina, TX; a son, Aaron King, of Fort Worth, TX; brothers, Robert King, and David King and wife Amy, both of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Gina Wilson, of Waxahachie, TX; and four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Christian Relief Fund, P. O. Box 19670, Amarillo, Texas 79114, in Randy’s name.

    I can’t wait to hear more stories of your life and your adventures from Aaron.
    You were an amazing dad to him. I can’t wait to say the same for him in the future.

  2. I’ve known and admired Randy since elementary school when he asked me if I was Kral and I said yes, and he punched me in the arm and called me a punk. I knew he would someday be my friend. Followed the stories of him going in the navy and when he got out. I met up with him again and saw the tats and thought how cool. He later met up with me and my family and they all loved him from the start, long hair and all. Randy, may you sleep with the angels and the Lord be at your side. Ride on-my brother-Ride on. Love you man!!

  3. I had a Pet Shop in Southlawn Plaza for 27 years and met Randy there. He was ALWAYS a JOY to visit with when he came in. Aaron might have been one of the Fannin kids that hung out at the Store after school back in the day, but he grew into a good friend over the years. Now he’s RIDING WITH THE. ANGELS ! RIP Randy King…

  4. He was a good friend and a brother whom I’ll never forget, rode his bike i was told up until his last days, always had a smile , Rest In Peace my brother, you will be missed.

  5. Randy was a good friend of my family I know him as tattoo Randy he drow on me so I could have a tattoo like he did he always had time for me when visiting my sister’s and as a adult h was a joy to have arnd I will miss him so much

As the memories flood my brain from a long time ago it was like yesterday…Randy was like the brother I never had and one of the greatest people to be in my life and my girls when we had no one else….I have always loved y’all !!     You were like a father to me and I knowi was a pain in the ass but you loved me no matter what and treated me like a daughter. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. Ride high bestie.
