Raul Enrique Ramos, age 66, passed away in Amarillo, Texas on June 7, 2022.
 
Raul was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 2, 1956.
 
Raul’s love for the Lord led him to attend bible college at Christ For The Nations in Dallas, TX where he became an ordained minister. Many lives have been touched through his passion for Jesus and his love for the lost. Raul enjoyed movies and dining out with friends and family. He found joy in cooking and had a niche for making his own unique food entrées. He loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hiking, biking, camping, and dancing, anything to have a good time. During his free time, he played golf, painted with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crafted wood into beautiful furniture, and spent many hours talking to his friends on the phone. Raul enjoyed talking to those who listened. Raul Ramos was a loving and kind man.
 
Raul was preceded in death by his mother, Raquel Ramos and his father, Leonides Ramos. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Lou Ramos; 3 daughters, Shannon and son-in-law, Ronnie Woodward, Shelly and son-in-law, Wayne Groves, and Angela and son-in-law, Max Tidwell; 10 grandchildren, Tana and husband, Cameron Jalali, Skyler Tidwell, Tori and husband, Andrew McKinstry, Josh Norris, Sydney Tidwell, Larah Norris, Jackson Norris, Tyler Groves, Kristian Bostick, and Alexandria Tidwell; 4 great-grandchildren, McKenna Tidwell, Josie and Ava Jalali, and Piper McKinstry; his sister, Elva and husband Curt German, and nephews Shane German and Aaron Germon; and his brother, Carlos and wife Laurie Ramos, and nephews Mike Ramos, Dan Halvorson, Ryan Ramos and Marcus Ramos.
 
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Family Worship Center, 11901 I-27, Amarillo, Texas with Pastor Ronnie Woodward officiating. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to Olive Tree Ministries, 409 E. Bonita Ave, Amarillo, Texas 79108.

  3. We are so sorry to hear about Raul!!! We all know he has now begun his eternal journey with our Lord in person … what JOY DIVINE!!! Raul was such a blessing in our lives when we attended CFNI together! His love for the Lord and Mary Lou will always be in our memories!!! God bless you, Mary Lou, as you lean into the Lord for your comfort and strength!!
