Raul Rodriguez Beltran, Jr. of Amarillo, TX of Amarillo, TX went home on September 3, 2023.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Raul was born October 17, 1950 in Munday, TX to Esther Rodriguez and Raul Duran Beltran. Raul was a member of San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford. He graduated from Hereford High School and attended Amarillo College where he earned an Associates Degree in Animal Science. Raul retired from Excell Meat Packing after 35 dedicated years.

Raul was a HUGE Dallas Cowboys Fan!

He is preceded in death by his mother, Esther; father, Raul; brother, Saul; and sister, Irene.

Raul is survived by wife of 18 years, Christina “Chris” Beltran; 2 daughters, Bridget of Sugar Creek, MO and Marisa ‘Easter Bunny” of Amarillo, TX; 2 sons, Jeremiah and wife Karen of Turkey and Eddie and wife Danielle of Amarillo, TX; 6 granddaughters, Dani “his Booboos”, Elizabeth, Triniti, Genesis, Kya, and Alivia; 6 grandsons, Ezekial, Micah, Nicholas “Nicholaso”, Yayo, Anthony, and Brandon; 3 great-grandsons, Boston, Travis, and Rowan; in-laws, Danny and Vicky Valverde; brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, and nephews whom he was very proud of; brothers, Dalbert of Lamesa, TX, and John and Elias of San Jose, CA; sisters, Juanita of Littlefield, TX, and Josie and Becca of San Jose, CA and many additional family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. We will miss his “Howdy Boys”, his “Right on Right on”, and his whistle who everyone knew him by, “Woot Woot!!”

  3. Our deepest condolences for your loss. We loved Raul as a great friend and we respected him very much. An awesome person to call our friend. He will be missed very much.
