Ray Neal Caraway, 68, of Panhandle, TX passed away January 2, 2024.
Visitation will be from 2-3:00 PM, Friday, January 5, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers at Panhandle. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Panhandle Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers at Panhandle.
Ray was born March 23, 1955, in Amarillo, TX to Harold and Marlene Caraway. He graduated from Tulia High School and worked as a cowboy, crop duster, and farmer all his life. Ray was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a charter member of the Dirty Shame Gang. He loved to fish, hunt, travel, gamble, and spend time with his grandchildren. He married Kathlynne Bell White on Valentine’s Day in 2008.
Ray is survived by his wife, Kathlynne; daughters, Carla Wadsworth and John Riley of Pampa, TX, and Karen Ellis of Cisne, IL; sons, John Caraway of Fritch, TX, Christian Aguirre and Stormie of Amarillo, TX, Alex Aguirre of Amarillo, TX, and Caesar Aguirre and Lena of Amarillo, TX; brothers, Shannon Caraway of Sunray, TX, and Randy Caraway of Gainesville, TX; 15 grandchildren; and his best friend Molly.
Family suggests memorials to Panhandle Methodist Church, Box 305, Panhandle, TX 79068.
