  1. Celinda, please know I am thinking of you and praying the treasured memories of your dad bring you comfort and peace. You have my deepest sympathy.

  2. Cindy, thank you for introducing and sharing your awesome dad with all of us. Who could picture him without his huge, encompassing smile? You’ve always been your daddy’s girl and he obviously coveted the honor. With loving wishes, DJ

  3. Lee was one of the most Godly man I’ve known. I worked with him at SPS/XCEL and he always had a kind word to say and a smile on his face. I saw him at Paramount Terrace.

  4. I have known Lee, Lucy and Cindy for 56 years. Celinda(Cindy) was in first grade with me at Coronado Elementary. Lee was our Kids Inc softball coach. I loved him and he always remembered me and gave me a hug. Lucy was our brownie troop leader. I always appreciated what they both did for our community. Comfort to you, Celinda and prayers for the void I know he leaves in your heart. 🙏🏻

  5. Lee was one of the kindest man I knew. I had the pleasure of working with him at SPS/Xcel for many years and he always such a pleasant attitude. My father, Ted Cummings, and his wife Tommie, ran around with him and Vera. They all had a good time and were good friends. He was also a good neighbor to my in-laws, Jim and Pearl McLemore. He will be greatly missed.
Prayers for the family at this time.

    1. Lee was my manager at SPS/Xcel many years back during the early 90s. I kept in contact via text and saw him a few years back at Lowes. He had remarried. I remember his story of meeting Elvis Presley. I will always remember. He was a good Godly man. He had often counseled me on a personal level with my marriage at the time that I needed it.
I had texted him this earlier this year and i hadn’t gotten a response. I texted him today and again no response. I did a search and found this announcement. My very heartfelt condolences to the surviving family.
I will miss my friend. If life is but a vapor I should see him again in a few minutes:).
My belated prayer for continued healing.

  6. Lee was such a special man. He would go out of his way to remember not only your name but significant facts about your life. He always had a smile on his face along with his “listening ears.” Celine’s, he will be missed! I know this leaves a hole in your heart and your life. I’m thankful he is visiting with Jesus now!

    1. Shirley,

Dad loved people. He always enjoyed seeing you!
I do miss him! But, I know that I will see Mom and Dad plus the rest of our families in Heaven for eternity. I’m going to enjoy life, serve Jesus and look forward to that day. Hope you and your family are doing well.
