Rebecca “Becky” Suzanne Burt, 77, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on March 12, 2024.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Rick Black officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.
Becky was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 16, 1946, to Blanche and Melvin Streich. She was a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was member of the Mountain Toppers Group.
She attended Trinity Lutheran School, was a graduate of Tascosa High School and studied chemistry and accounting at West Texas A & M University. She worked in accounting for Hasting Books and Records and Boys Ranch.
Becky was married to Wayne Burt for 11 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Blanche and Melvin Streich, and is survived by her brother Ronald David Streich.
