RH. (Robert) Weaver, 76, of Amarillo, died Sunday. May 9. 2010.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Oasis Southwest Baptist Church in 2010.
Burial was held in Denver City Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Box-well Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Robert was born April 2, 1934, in Quail to O.J. and Ethel May Weaver. He married Helen Hix on May 24,
1956, in Denver City and he retired from Southwestern Public Service in 1998 after 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen; a sister, Doris McKee of Sulphur Springs, two daughters, Rhonda Matthews of Springfield, Mo, and Judy Nunn of Amarillo; two sons, Tim Weaver and Rod Weaver, both of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memo-nais be to Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX
