Rhonda Jeannette Robinson, 70, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on May 14, 2023.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at The Church at Bushland with Steven Liles officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Wildorado Cemetery in Wildorado, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Rhonda was born in Muleshoe, Texas on October 14, 1952, to Gene and Allene Harvey. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1970.

Rhonda married Mike Robinson on January 15, 1971. Together they had four children, Terry, Roger, Ronnie, and Marla.

Rhonda loved all things bears and has an uncountable collection of bears in her home. She enjoyed spending her time doing crafts and reading books. Rhonda was a Falcon Media top fan. She loved supporting the Bushland Falcons and her grandchildren.

Rhonda was best known as Nonnie, Non, and Mom. Her family always came first.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis Harvey; nephew, Mark Harvey; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles and Inez Robinson.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Robinson; children, Terry Robinson, of Amarillo, Roger Robinson and wife Sherri, of Amarillo, Ronnie Robinson of Perryton, and Marla Golladay and husband Matt of Amarillo; grandchildren, Logan Robinson, Aaron Robinson, Billy Robinson, Breann Robinson, Grace Golladay and fiancé Aaron Welch, Emma Golladay, Jacob Golladay, and Katie Golladay; great-grandchildren, Izabella Villegas and Camden Robinson; siblings, Sondra Andes and husband Rick, of Clovis, NM, Genia Jenkins and husband Matt, of Seminole; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Bushland Independent School District, PO Box 60, Bushland, TX 79012.

It was Rhonda’s dear wish to pay off all lunch balances within the district.

  3. Happy, full of life and fun, great smile, love for everyone around her … would be how I think of Rhonda. So sad to hear of her passing. Praying for all of her family and friends. She will certainly be missed by so many! She was my cousin.

  4. Rhonda was a big sister to me. I love our time together. We had many adventures together with her and Mike. George and I love going camping and taking trips with Rhonda ,Mike and their kids.. We would laugh so hard about the stories we told. I will miss her very much as she would give me advice help me through my hard times and being there for me. Praying for the family and my God give you peace and comfort.

  5. I am so so sorry for your loss. Rhonda and I go way back we worked together at AISD food service we were both managers. Many good times back in the day. I always enjoyed when I would see her at Walmart to talk with her. My thoughts and Prayers are with each one of you . May you all feel the comfort of God’s arms around you to comfort you.

  8. The Jesko’s and Harvey’s lives have been intertwined for decades from High School to retirement. Know that Jerry and I feel your pain and sorrow. You are all in our thoughts and prayers and we are very sorry for your loss. We love you dearly.

  10. Rhonda was a great cook. We had many wonderful times together working at Vega ISD and also at Wildorado Baptist Church. She will be missed greatly but I look forward to seeing her in Heaven one day. Praying for the family. She loved Mike, her kids, and grandchildren very much.
